Being that it's Monday, I am here with the 365 Cards Day 15 Challenge! Pam has an Ad Inspired challenge for you. I get to pick the Ad (yes, she does trust me that much!), and I picked this ad from the Martha Stewart website. I loved these eggs nestled inside the little baskets, with some bunnies and ribbons, plus the combo of the blue, white, and tan is very pretty. Use this photo to inspire you to make a card.
Here is my card. I used another KLM Digital Designs image. I am on that design team, so I get at least four images a month to play with. I colored the egg with Copics and sponged the grass. The grass did not turn out quite right, but...let's just move on, shall we?
I got the pearl swirl in my LSS kit for February. I would normally hoard something like that, but made myself use it! The sparkly butterfly was also in the kit. I don't remember where the pom-pom trim came from. I found it in my ribbon stash. The background paper is from an old DCWV stack. I had to make myself stop buying that stuff! Anyway, I love the blues here. I think it came together well. I was worried because after I colored the egg, I was not sure I liked it, but did not have the energy to color a new one! But, like always, I just started to pull blue things out until something looked "right."
This card is also for the following other challenges:
1. Pile it On - pastels
2 . Stampin' B's - spring or Easter card
3. Rosie D's - Think spring
4. Bee Crafty - spring plus a digi image
Gloria, it turned out lovely! (yes, the grass is okay... LOL)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors on the ad photo, and hope I'll get to play with it.
