I have to admit that there are two children's stories that I despise...The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. I don't like the books nor the movies made from them. And while we are at it, I can admit that Peter Pan is in the running as well. I know, crazy talk! But I did not let that stop me. I found some vintage clipart online (forgive me, but I did not write down where I got this). I printed the image, then colored it with Copics. Yeah, baby, that was a lot of coloring!
I am totally creeped out by the Mad Hatter. (He's MAD, people! As in CRAZY!) But, I do think this vintage image is way better than the Disney cartoon version, but perhaps not as creepy as the new Johnny Depp version! I used Basic Grey Sugar Rush paper and some green swirl ribbon, both from my LSS club kit for March. The sentiment is something I made on the computer. Here is an inside view.
My card is also for these challenges:
1. Little Red Wagon - Copics
2. Penny's Paper-Crafty - Birthday (does un-birthday count?)
3. Daisy Doodles - digi (well, it's clipart printed from the computer)
4. Simple Doodles - green and a digi (I can cheat on this one, I'm on the DT! heehee)
Eventhoug you hate the movie, you created a funny beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteI just couldn't stop myself from cheating on this one....
