365 Cards Day 29

The 365 Cards Monday Challenge for Day 29 is to "use a certain sentiment." And that sentiment is "Hang in There." Since we have a sponsor this week - Sew Many Cards - I've use their Tayla in a Tree digi stamp for my card. I created the sentiment on the computer and printed it.

This was one of those cards that looked better in my head than in reality! I think it's the lack of printed paper! I rarely make a card without using lots of prints. See the little bit of gingham paper behind the image...it's not even paper! It's the packing material from a set of K&Co stickers I had on my desk. Let it not be said that I don't reuse recycle and whatever that other Re is....

I did use the Cricut to cut a scallop piece. Blew the dust off that baby! Then, after I dragged out the machine, set it up, found the right cartridge, blah blah blah and cut the paper...I remembered that I have Spellbinders dies that I could have used and taken about 6 seconds! Sigh... So many tools...

I colored the kitty with Copics and added a lot of Stickles and other sparkly bling. And some yummo ribbon. I hope you play along, because this is an EASY challenge! Pam must have run out of "special coffee"!

Oh, and before you rush off...keep your fingers and toes crossed and pray some crafty prayers for me because Graphic45 announces the 2010 Design Team this week! I'm on pins and needles waiting to see if I snagged a spot!

I love the colors that were used! They are so feminine but it is not too striking.
