CPCST57

Here is Christian Paper Crafts Sketch Tuesday #57. I created another A2 sketch. I was making way too many square card sketches, so I thought I'd switch it up for a few weeks. So stay posted for the rest of May, because who knows what I will come up with?! I could be that I have gotten a shipment of Pam's special coffee!

The card I created is also for my KLM Designs commitment. I used this really cute digital stamp. I had to modify the sketch a tiny bit because I printed the digi stamp a tad large for my card, but did not realize it until the image was all finished!

I colored the image with Copics and pencils, then paper pieced her coat. I also used some Copics to highlight the coat. I'm not the wiz at paper piecing that Rose is, but I tried!

I used Basic Grey Sultry papers (6x6 pad) and some new American Crafts cardstock. I embossed the pink cardstock with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirl folder. I used another KLM Digital stamp for the inside of my card.

I loved that quote as it ties into the message of The Truth Project - about how God shows us his face in nature, but most of the time we are too stubborn to see Him there. I just finished 7 weeks of this 13-week study, and have to say it's amazing. For those of you who are Christian, and want a good study on a Christian world view, this study is outstanding.

On a side note: I was thinking that I may need to drop to doing a sketch every other week for CPC (for June-August), but I plan to try very hard to keep giving you a sketch EVERY week. I've been praying about this a lot. CPC does not pay me anything for creating sketches for them. I do it because I want to support the work they do in the Christian papercrafting community and I want to continue to help them, but I also need to see where God is leading me. So far He's been making it "easy" for me to continue to create the sketches and the samples. I will continue as long as I feel the Call to do so!
