It's Friday!

This week was both very long and very short! I was so busy that the week seemed to zip by, but I was so busy I have not had time to take a break! I hope to get some down time on Saturday, but not too much as I have a lot of cards to make!

Today I am showing you my last sketch for Practical Scrappers. Sadly, I have had to step down from making sketches for them. I just have way too much on my plate right now. Since they are transitioning to their new DT, they were able to fill in with other sketch artists.

I really like how this sketch came out. And I love the card I made! I used 7Gypsies paper from my LSS kit, plus some stuff out of my stash.

The flower is Petaloo from a few years ago.

The square bling was floating around in my bag of bling...not sure where that came from. I even decorated the inside of the card!

I hope you have enjoyed my sketches. I will still be making sketches for CPC, at least for now. But I may be going to an every other week schedule for them starting in June.

I also have my CropStop Embossing Challenge for you today. There are some fabbie new stamps in the CropStop Store! The Heartfelt Creations stamps work with Spellbinder Nestie dies to create dimensional flowers! I was able to play with them for my embossing project today! (Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.)

I embossed the Graphic45 paper, then lightly sanded it to reveal the white core. To see how to stamp and cut the flowers, see this tutorial video.

Stamps - Fiskars (greeting), Heartfelt Creations Aztec Gold Sunflowers 2 (flowers)
Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug Swiss Dots
