CPCST59

Thursday is Christian Paper Crafts Sketch Tuesday! I think I told you last week that I am no longer the Sketch Hostess for CPC, but I am still creating the sketches each week. CPC has a new blog and Jenn will be posting the sketch and doing all the hostess duties, so make sure you check that out and give her some love! I will continue to post the sketch here with my take on it.

I made another long, skinny sketch for this week.

Here is my card. This was one of those cards that just did not seem to look "right" after I finished it. But I did not really have time to fool with it any longer. Besides the sketch, I had two other challenges to follow: I had to use this Scenic Route paper from my LSS club kit, plus we were supposed to create a banner on our project.

I embossed the green cardstock with Sizzix swirls and waves EF. I also used snaps stacked on buttons for my embellies. I got the snaps at the fabric store.

The banners are little stickers from Jenni Bowlin and the letters are Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type.

I used a huge grommet (Making Memories) and another button/snap in place of the flower. It's kind of a manly card, which I never have enough of.
