OCCSC18

It's Thursday and that means it's time for the Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge! Jennifer gave us an interesting one this week!

On my shopping spree last Saturday I found this fabbie Memory Box 6x6 paper. I'd never used this paper line before. It's very similar to some of the Basic Grey papers and the soft colors spoke to me. It's also cardstock weight, but sadly is NOT double sided.

I chose Close to My Heart textured cardstock and Stampin' Up white. This was a hard blue to match and I had just one sheet of the CTMH blue that matched! I colored the image with Copics and glitter pen, and then paper pieced the bird cage. That cutie stamp is from My Cute Stamps - another new purchase. I drew the music notes with a Zig pen!

The thin white ribbon has been in my stash for probably 20 years! Since I first started to make cards! It's still good, so stop "tsking" me! I used my Nestie dies to cut the circles and a Martha punch for the bottom border.

Here is the inside. The sentiment is my new Hero Arts set. Love this font!

Make sure you stop by OCC Sketch and see what the rest of the DT has made!
