Graphic45 and Unity Stamps!

This is my second post for today, so if you are looking for the CPC Sketch Tuesday, just scroll down. As you can see from the top of my blog, Graphic45 and Unity Stamps are having a blog swap this week. The Graphic45 DT got some amazing stamps to play with! I got The Unforgettable Moments set, which has 14 stamps! I made a couple of items, but today this card is being showcased on the G45 Blog!

I created a 5x5 card and then layered on the Graphic45 Papers: Renaissance Faire Masterpiece and Botanicabella Dragonfly Duet. Both of these collections have a cream background on some of the prints and work so well together. I sprayed Tattered Angels Crushed Shells Glimmer Mist on the doily (from Michael's). You can get a whole pack of these doilies for a few dollars. Look in the cake and candy section of the craft store. I stamped the Unity image with brown ink onto cream cardstock, then added some distressing with vintage photo ink.

I also sprayed the Prima flower with Glimmer Mist. The flower is made from canvas fabric, which reminds me of cross stitch fabric. That yummy lace came from the fabric store, I think. I am not sure. I buy a lot of trims from all over the country, and it's hard to keep track.

I stamped the ticket and cut it out, then stamped "love" over the top (the love stamp is from Stampin' Up). The vintage button is Jenni Bowlin and the fancy pin is Maya Road. I also decorated the inside of the card. I "grunged up" cream cardstock and then stamped the sentiment in brown ink. I added a bit of the Botanicabella paper to the bottom edge.

My plan is to send this card to my brother and his wife. They celebrated 25 years of marriage on the 5th, and are having a marriage re-commitment ceremony on the 10th. I cannot attend, as it's in North Carolina, but I do want them to know I am thinking of them on their special day. I am always late getting stuff mailed out...but they are very forgiving folks! (I hope!)

I hope you enjoyed my "double post" day. Go check out the G45 and Unity blogs and see what's up this week! Lots of goodness, I can tell you that. The G45 DT is so amazing. Every time I see what the other girls create my jaw just hits the floor.
