Graphic45 Trio of Cards

A trio of my cards is being showcased on the Graphic45 Blog today! I created three simple cards, using Graphic45 papers, Papertrey Ink stamps, and Copic markers. I really wanted to show that, while Graphic45 paper is STAND OUT, it can also take a back seat to a fantastic stamped image.

This first card is a fall theme, using the pumpkin stamps from the Papertrey Ink Vintage Picnic set. The papers are from the Graphic45 On the Boardwalk collection. Yes, you read that right! I used a summer paper set for a fall card. I am THAT good, people! {giggle} I have also been playing with the Jumbo Scallop die from My Favorite Things.

I've been working on my coloring technique and was very happy with the results on this card. However, I got a red blotch on the card - from distress ink! So, I stamped a few more pumpkins, colored them, cut them out, and pop-dotted them right over the blotch! Ta-da! {told you I was GOOD}

Here is a shot of the inside. I used a stamp from the Papertrey Vintage Picnic Sentiments set.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
The Shabby Tea Room - #31 pumpkins

I did not want my card to be lonely, so I made two more cards in the same style. I used Graphic45 A Proper Gentleman for this card, along with another image from the Vintage Picnic set.

I love the blues in this paper set. It's not really a fall theme, but close enough. Especially when you live in southern California! I used a Spellbinders die for the sentiment "tag." I cut it in half, stamped the greeting, then inked the edges.

I did more Copic coloring and also decorated the inside of the card.

My favorite of the set is this apple card. The papers are from the Le' Romantique line. Which does NOT have any red in it, but I matched up the neutrals with red, and POP!
I was especially proud of the coloring on the apples. I even managed to highlight them. A new "trick" for me.

The fabbie ribbon makes the card. It's some May Arts that I picked up at my LSS. I also used some May Arts twine, and a fab Jenni Bowlin button.

The inside of the card makes use of a stamp (and once again, the scallop die) from My Favorite Things.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my trio of cards!
