Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

This is my second post for today. If you are looking for the CropStop post, just scroll down.

I've been seeing these super cute Kraftin Kimmie stamps here and there, and they are adorbale, so I purchased a few last week. I've finally had a chance to color one. This little "lady" is called Charlotte. She's so stinkin' cute! I loved coloring her...with Copics of course.

Kraftin Kimmie has a blog, and there was a sketch challenge this week (#51), so I did that as well. It was a fun sketch.

Now I have to tell you a funny story about this paper. The orange "damask" paper. It's from a Pink Paislee pad called Hocus Pocus. Now, I HATE HATE HATE anything with skulls on it. But this pack had some pretty colors and designs and one was this orange damask. However, once I had the card finished, I realized that the "damask" was skulls! Oh.my.lands! I should really wear my reading glasses when I make projects! Joke on me!

The striped paper is from a Memory Box pad called Blackbird, and the purple swirl is from Cosmo Cricket Matilda. The orange swirl ribbon is from CropStop.

I used a stamp from Hero Arts for the inside. I make myself smile. I am such a goof! Look at those icky skulls! I told this story to my friend Pat last night and she rolled her eyes and laughed. I bet she always wears HER reading glasses!

This card is also being entered into the Color Challenge at OCC. They asked for green, orange, purple, brown, and white. I nailed that.

Very cute card, Gloria! The sculls weren't that noticeable to me until you pointed it out! Great coloring! Thanks so much for playing along with Our Creative Corner's color challenge!
