I got a new pad of October Afternoon paper for Christmas, so dragged out all of my OA pads to make my card. I love this paper (thanks, Patience, for getting it for me). So fun and vintage. One of my bloggy friends said that the cards remind her of Dick and Jane books. So true! I wish I could find one of those old books at a yard sale! (If you are too young to remember Dick and Jane...well...just grow up! hee hee) I think I used paper from Modern Homemaker, Report Card, and Road Map for my card. Love combining my papers. Those tiny buttons were lurking in the bottom of one of my bins...how cute are they?!
I am not sure where that gingham ribbon came from, but I suspect it came in an Apron Strings kit.
The stamp on the inside of the card is from a Gina K set that Cindy (CPC Grand Poobah) sent me for Christmas!
Check back tomorrow for another project. I've got a lot going on right now, and soon I'll be able to tell you all about some of what's brewing!
Hi Gloria, Oh I DO remember Dick and Jane!! And your card DOES look just like that! There was fabric out a few years ago that depicted the Dick and Jane stuff - I will look around here and see if I can spot one of those old books and send it your way. Hope you have dried out there - the snow here is melted.
