365 Cards Day 316

It's 365 Cards Day 316 - the Monday Challenge - Pure Elegance. Pam wants our cards to be purely elegant today! Since I got to pick a fantastic image from our sponsor - Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps, this challenge was easy! I picked this fantastic silhouette image and decided to make my card black and cream.

I printed the image, then distressed the paper a bit with ink. I added some pearls to the flowers on the image, and to the corners of the image block. I love pearls! The Teresa Collins paper and the Spellbinders die worked perfectly with this image!

Everything, except the image, was part of my LSS Club kit for December. I finally had a chance to pull it out and make something! The ribbon is some sparkly netting stuff that came in my kit. It sort of reminds me of the fancy veils that ladies used to wear back in the Victorian times. So there it is, my elegant card!

Prayer Request: I'd like to ask all of you prayer warriors reading today if you'd pray for my father-in-law, Arthur. He's going in today to have chemo for a liver tumor. He'll be in hospital for 23 hours getting the procedure. It's his first treatment so we have no way of knowing how he'll respond. Any and all prayers would be appreciated.
