CPC Sketch Tuesday #93

Well, it's Tuesday. The last Tuesday in January. How did that happen? And why am I always surprised at how fast time passes? Oh, to be a child again for just a while, when time moves at a snail's pace!

Since it IS Tuesday, it's time for Christian Paper Crafts Sketch Tuesday #93.

This is one of those sketches that looked so cool when I created it. But when I went to make my card...not so much. It was HARD! But I managed to make a card with it.

I used some new Cosmo Cricket and Webster's Pages papers. The two paper lines went well together. I love when I can mix my companies. Makes me happy.

The image is an October Afternoon alphabet card. The black and red matched my papers perfectly. That's three paper manufacturers in one card. BAM!

I used a little strip of the Cosmo paper on the inside and then stamped the scripture with a Unity Ippity stamp. This stamp is hard to stamp straight so I normally have to stamp it and then cut it out somehow.

My trusty Spellbinders Nestie circles did the trick. I thought the scripture sort of matched the image on the card...how the Lord is our "umbrella" in times of trouble. He shields us from so much, the way an umbrella shields us from the rain.

I am entering this into the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge #73 - Vintage.
