Our challenge this week is extra special - we would like you to show us your favorite challenge from the past year! And to celebrate, we have four different prizes for four randomly drawn winners! Each DT Member has also picked her favorite past challenge to share with you!
For my birthday hop card, I used Challenge #2, Build a Sundae. This was a recipe challenge using:
Ice cream: Chocolate (brown)
Sauce: Strawberry (pink)
Topping: Whipping cream (lace)
Finishing touch: Cherry on Top (Flowers)
Here is my card. I used this cute image from one of our fantastic sponsors, Whiff of Joy. The Image is called "girl with cookies."
I colored her with Copics, naturally. Is she cute in her little pink apron and slippers, or what?! The designer paper is Bo Bunny from a new 6x6 pad I picked up a few weeks ago. Plus a bit of Melissa Frances thrown in for good measure.
I colored the pins with Copics, and added some fab roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. Check out the yummy lace! A super find at my LSS.
The inside greeting is a Hero Arts stamp.Now, I bet you want to know what word you are to collect from me....PARTICIPANTS. Write this down because you will spell out a phrase that you must take back to the Paper Sundaes Blog at the end of the hop. Make sure to leave me a comment because I will be drawing a name to win a fabbie RAK from me!

ReplyDeleteGloria~ Such a cute card! You colored those pins with copics??? I try to color things with copics, but it never looks right. Any tips? Does it have to have a certain finish for it to work?
