CropStop Sketch Thursday

Hello, all of you bloggie peeps! Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday! It's always nice to be wished happy! {grin}

Hey, all of you sketch lovers out there, I've got a sketch for you today. I told you the other day that I am now the SKETCH DESIGNER for the NEW CropStop Challenge Blog. I won't be posting every week, just on sketchy weeks. I've been on the CropStop CT for 2 1/2 years, and it was time for a bit of a change-up, so I've moved off the main Creative Team to Sketch Designer. It fits my schedule and allows me to create fabbie sketches!

Plus I get to play with my own sketches, buy cool stuff at the CropStop store (that part is on the down low from dh, k?) and make cards! And speaking of buying, I have a 10% coupon code in my right sidebar! Please shop responsibly! Here is my sample.

I used Graphic45 Steampunk papers from the 8x8 pad. CropStop carries a selection of the G45 paper pads. I distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz scissors. These are SUPER. I got them from a friend for Christmas and I really love them! When I cannot find my edge distressing tool, I use my scissors! Works great! I also added a bit of Ranger Distress Vintage Photo ink to the paper.

I really like the Graphic45 images. They are the perfect size for cards. The ribbon I used is a wonky sort of brown/black that is perfect for my card, but it's polka dotted on the front...so I just flipped it over and used the reverse!

I stamped the inside of my card with some Tim Holtz stamps (Mini Classics, Going Somewhere).

I am entering this card into these challenges:

Top Tip Tuesday - Anything Girlie - now, before you accuse me of cheating, you should know, in our house, girlie does NOT mean pink! This card describes both me and my daughter. We are Steampunk gals, not pink and frilly!
