CPC Sketch Tuesday #101

Hello, there, peeps! I'm home safely from my retreat! I had the best time hanging out with my scrappy friends! Each of us made good use of the time away. The creativity and talent of the woman never ceases to amaze me. There were so many great projects made in the course of the 4 days, and my pal Margie finished 100 layouts! I will share photos soon!

For now, be content with Christian Paper Crafts Sketch Tuesday #101. Today is Blog Hop day, and the theme is He is Risen. Make sure you stop by the blog and link up your project. Come back here to my blog tomorrow as I will reveal the winner of the Sketch Tuesday 100 RAK! You have until noon today to leave a comment on the Sketch 100 post to be counted in the drawing!

The sketch this week as a landscape A2 (or you could make a 5x7 or another size).

I changed it up and made a portrait 5x7 card. It has all the elements of the sketch. It just shows that sketches are very versatile and easy to use! I had some new Prima papers in my stash, so got them out and actually cut into them for this card! I also de-hoarded the rose trim. It's so pretty! The scallop border you can see peeking out from under the roses is a My Favorite Things die.

I stamped the Papertrey Ink Friendship Jar and colored the images with Copics. I punched butterflies from the paper and "sprinkled" them on the card. I inked the doily with Ranger Distress Tumbled Glass ink. It's a perfect match for the Copic markers I chose for my jar.

I used a stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs for the inside of my card. I love the fonts on the ODBD stamps.
