Graphic45 Mother's Day

I want to wish both my mother and my mother-in-law a very happy Mother's Day! In fact, I want to wish all the moms in my life a happy day today! I am actually in Connecticut with my mother-in-law and father-in-law, and (hopefully) enjoying a mom's day breakfast with them!

I made this project for Graphic45, and for whatever reason decided to make it a Mother's Day project! As a mom myself, I always feel like I'm in the middle of a three ring circus! So, this is not that odd of a theme! I altered a page from one of the Graphic45 black policy envelope albums, which made a great canvas for my project.
I layered on a lot of Le Cirque papers, including altering some G45 packaging to make a giant tag!

I created that fantastic flower using the Spellbinders Carnation Creations (S5-049) die templates and one of the new Graphic45 metal buttons. Check out the fabbie bling! I think those are from Recollections and Prima.

I stamped the greeting with a stamp from StampingScrapping . Then I cut it out with Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio Three (S4-323), and added more flowers cut with the Spellbinders Carnation Creations die template.

The best part is the metal tag from G45. That guy looks like a small door plate! So cool! I put one of the G45 tags on top, attached with a brad. Fab! I made a fabbie rolled rose using May Art pleated ribbon and a Cosmo Cricket Gluber! What an EASY way to make a ribbon rose! I added a Prima jewel to the center for that added bit of glitz.

Check out the feathers! I found some bundles of feathers at the craft store, in the floral department, and they were just begging to come home with me! This project is glamorous and sparkly. And heavy! I had a ton of fun making this. (And if you love it, wait until Father's Day...)

I'll be back home on Wednesday night, so look for more posts late in the week. I will not be posting the CPC Sketch Tuesday on time this week, but check the CPC Blog on Tuesday as the girls should have it posted there for you!

We continue to pray for my Father-in-law's health. I am also praying for my own mother who will be leaving her home of over 60 years in a few weeks, to move to another state to live with one of my older brothers. This is very hard for her, but is the best choice for her at this point. I am sure the Lord has His mighty hand on all of us during these times.
