Spellbinders™ Fall Ensemble

I hope it's a lovely fall day where you are! Here on the southern California coast, it's what passes for fall. It's foggy and 65 degrees. It may burn off by this afternoon and be a lovely day, but right now...not so much!

To get us all in the mood, I have a Fall Ensemble that I created for the Spellbinders™ Gallery.  These projects were also seen at Summer CHA in Chicago. I created a 12x12 scrapbook page, a card, and a table place card holder.

I used the colors in the photo for my inspiration. The colors of the cardstock and the Graphic34 papers worked perfectly.

I took this photo at Palomar Mountain, at Bailey's Resort during one of my scrapbook retreats. Every time I go there I take photos of this rusty, old truck! I even have it as my wallpaper on my computer desktop!

I used the new Spellbinders flower pot die template as the base for my fall floral arrangement. I created all of the flowers by hand, using die cuts and stenciling techniques. (See the supply list below for specific die templates.)

I "jazzed" up the chipboard letters with ink and die cut shapes. This is a fun way to breathe new life into all of those chipboard letters you have in your stash. And those of you who collect chipboard letters, you know who you are!

I created a card in the same style, using various die templates. I love using the chalk ink to ink my paper while it's still in the die templates. The unique "cut-emboss-stencil" properties of Spellbinders die templates makes it easy to create layered looks.

My last project is this place card holder. I wrapped two 12 inch candles with ribbon, and then attached the leaves and tag arrangement to create a place card holder.

Once again, I used ink to stencil my die cut shapes to give them interest and dimension. (This little lovely is featured on the Spellbinders Blog today!)

I hope this fall ensemble gives you some ideas for creating some fall projects of your own!
