World Card Making Day 2011

Good morning Blogger buddies and crafting peeps! It is once again World Card Making Day! You will see prizes and contests all over the 'Net today! I am doing my part and showing you some NEW cards, plus I will be giving out a prize! I will draw a Random Winner from all of the Comments to this post - and the  winner will receive small prize package from me! So, just "say howdy" for your chance to win!

I have a few cards to share that I made for design teams or for publication, but they were never used or picked up for one reason or another. I know my loyal readers love to see my "rejects." OK, so they are not really rejects, just "unloved" until now! Y'all know how much I love to make cards, and all cards deserve some love! (Make sure you check the Blog Tour to see more great cards!)

This first card is a summer-themed beauty that I originally made for Graphic 45. They cannot possibly share everything the team makes, so I asked if I could share some cards I made last spring, since they were just sitting in the "dead card" bin. G45 said yes, so here you go!

I used On the Boardwalk papers to create a "postcard art" type of card. I also dug into my Spellbinders die templates. (For a list of supplies, see the end of the post.)

The next two projects are also from my Graphic 45 bin, using the A Proper Gentleman papers. I've made a few projects in this same theme...which explains why these two projects are just sitting around waiting for love!

I used Spellbinders Labels Two templates to create a frame for my golfer dude.

The embossed background paper is Core'dinations Graphic 45 Timeless Collection cardstock.

I love metal and used some Idea-ology and 7Gypsies metal goodies. The next card is simple, but still man-tastic!

More fabbie G45 papers and gears!

This next little card has been sitting on my desk for months. I originally made it for a publication, but it was not picked up. Then I submitted it for a 2nd publication, and they didn't like her either! Enough of that...here she is!

The stamp is from The Greeting Farm, and is just so cute! I had fun using Copic Markers to color black hair and red clothes! I am so brave! I love her red boots and umbrella!

I hope you enjoyed my card extravaganza today! Make sure to leave a comment for a chance to win my prize! Have fun today during World Card Making Day! I love to make cards and probably make more than 365 cards per year! Not counting my Christmas cards! I hope something you see here inspires you to make a few cards!

To have a chance to win more prizes, make sure you scroll down and leave a comment on my Trick or Treat Blog Hop post and on the Spellbinders/Core'dinations Blog Hop post!
