Graphic 45 and Core'dinations Blog Hop!

All this week Graphic 45 is teaming up with Core'dinations for a fun blog hop. By visiting both the Graphic 45 Blog and the Core'dinations Blog you'll see some astounding crafts that combine the elegance of Graphic 45 with the the beauty and versatility of Core'diantions products. It's an unbeatable mix of inspiration!

There are four fabulous prizes  up for grabs this week - two from G45 and two from Core'dinations! Leave a comment on the Graphic 45 Blog or Facebook page as well as the Core'dinations Blog or Facebook page for your chance to win!

I created a 12x12 layout using one of my mother's school photos. I think mom was about 10 or so in this photo, making it about 1940. I used all Core'dinations cardstock: Graphic 45 Signature Series and Core Impressions Graphic 45 Timeless Collection. You can see how fun it is to distress this cardstock! I tore some of the red to allow a bit of the printed paper to peek through.

I used one of the Graphic 45 black policy envelopes to tuck some journaling into. I am not great at putting journaling onto my pages, but I do like to have some way to tuck journaling away, just in case I ever get around to actually writing something! I am not a "memory book maker" but rather I am a "paper artist." For me it's all about the creative process! And the best part is working with AMAZING papers!

I kept everything simple and grungy. I love the Graphic 45 An ABC Primer collection. My favorite collection yet!

This page has some dimension, and the sanded paper is just the perfect touch. Enjoy the hop! Don't forget to leave a comments this week on the Graphic 45 and Core'dinations blogs and Facebook pages for your chance to win the prizes!

  1. I love the sweet scrap of red plaid pointing down to the beautiful photo. The distressed clocks and the pretty embellishments are all so perfect together.
