I have a few Christmas projects to show you. These were all made for Spellbinders™. If you want more details about the specific supply lists or the links to each product used, visit the Idea Gallery.
Make sure you read all the way down, because one of these projects also has a tutorial attached to it!
First is this 12x12 layout of my kids. The photo was taken in 2009, which is a Christmas miracle that I scrapped that photo already! {giggle}
I used: S5-057 Holly Accents, S4-338 Holiday Tags, LF-133 Grand Scalloped Rectangle, LF-132 Grand Rectangle, GC-001 Grand Calibur. I am pretty sure that you need to give Santa a list that contains some of these fantastic die templates!
I cut the ornaments from glitter paper, then decorated them with the holly. You can see that I cut and embossed the leaves, then stenciled them with ink. I love the stenciling feature of the Spellbinders templates!
I added tiny brads to the leaves.
The journaling tag tucks behind the photo.
This next project is a trio of little boxes I made using the new envelope templates.
These little dudes have been featured in several Spellbinders videos as well as in some online ads! I admit, they are cute! I used: LF-007 Hexagon Petal Envelope, LF-008 Hexagon Pinwheel Top Box, S4-348 Postage Stamps, S4-338 Holiday Tags, S5-056 Holly Accents, S4-114 Standard Circles Large, GC-001 Grand Calibur.
I used the flowers from the Hexagon Petal Envelope Box to create Christmas flowers on the top. The box is tied closed with wrinkle ribbon. You can tuck money or a gift card inside.
The next box is the Hexagon Pinwheel Top Box. This little box is so fun.
Again, you can tuck a gift card or other item inside, or use this as a party favor.
This is another version of the pinwheel box.
I cut and embossed the template twice, once with cardstock and once with designer paper so that I could line the box with decorative paper!
They are adorable, right?!
Next up is a Christmas card. If you want to make this card for yourself, click HERE to go to my tutorial!
This is probably my favorite card of all the cards I've made this season! I love the colors and and the flower! That little bit of pink and green just makes me smile. It's not a traditional card, but I live in San Diego now and...Christmas here looks NOTHING like the Christmases of my childhood back east! I am ok with non-traditional these days!
I used: S4-324 Ribbon Banners, S4-327 Floral Flourishes, S4-328 Foliage, S5-055 Layered Poinsettia, GC-001 Grand Calibur.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Beautiful layout ♥
