Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #44

Time for a new challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon! For Challenge #44, make a spring themed project, plus ribbon.

Even here in southern California, spring means flowers. The peach tree in my back yard is bursting with hot pink flowers! I thought this little tulip girl was perfect for a spring card. Add to that some soft ribbons and the pretty paper my friend Karen gave me at our retreat...ahhhh spring!

I used Light Blue Satin with a Grosgrain Edge ribbon, and White Corsage Ribbon. I love the corsage ribbon because it picks up the colors that are near it and sparkles in the light. I had to buy a whole roll of that stuff!

I added a button (who knows where I got it) and some tiny pearls to finish the card. I admit, I do not do anything very creative with ribbon, but I use it on almost every card. It's pretty rare for me to NOT add ribbon. Even on manly cards I add some sort of trim, most of the time. Love me some ribbon!

Don't forget to go over to the RRR Blog and link up your project for a chance to win! RRR has two challenges a month! Join in! And check out what the rest of the team is making! Also, RRR is looking for a new DESIGN TEAM! Check out the info HERE.
