This is my second post for today. If you are looking for the Stop And Scrap Blog Hop, scroll down.
Because I am so "special," I have another project to share today. I made this card for Hampton Art Stamps, with one of their Signature Collection wood stamps, called Hydrangea Collage.
I stamped the image with Clearsnap Colorbox Graphic 45 Decades Photogenic antiquing ink and colored it with Copic markers. I stayed with soft, light colors to give the image a watercolor look. (I am not a very good watercolorist, which is why I did not simply watercolor!)
I painted over the top of the butterfly image with Colorbox Smooch Banana Custard ink. This ink is a pearlesant ink that gives just a bit of sparkle.
I sponged image background with Clearsnap Colorbox Graphic 45 Decades Venetian Lace antiquing ink. I wanted to mimic the "aged" appearance of the paper, so I only sponged a bit of ink here and there.
I trimmed image and inked the edges with Clearsnap Smoke Blue pigment ink. The ribbon is Light Orchid Shimmer Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used Hampton Art Stamps Ditto Studio G Happy Mother's Day for the inside. Since this is such a big stamp it fit better on the inside of the card. Which also gives me the chance to decorate the inside of the card! With more Graphic 45 papers!
I will be drawing a winner from the Scrap Kitchen NSD Blog Hop. I will probably post that later tonight or tomorrow. Check back to see if you are a winner! If I hit 100 Likes on the Fan Page, I will draw for a second prize! Happy winning!
