Dream a Little Dream - Hampton Art Stamps

Monday, Monday. Just two more sleeps and I leave for Vancouver, BC and my Alaskan cruise and tour! Yahooo! Since it has always been a dream of mine to visit Alaska, what better card to share than this Hampton Art Stamps beauty?!

The background paper is so pretty on it's own, but I added the Paris Postage image to it just because it's one of my favorite images. In fact, I have this image in several sizes! I have the larger, wood mount version that I used here, plus a smaller version that comes as part of the Graphic 45 Curtain Call 2 set.

I stamped the Large Face Frame in brown ink onto pale cream paper and trimmed it out. I have several of these face images also. A long time ago I was doing a lot of work with "photograph" stamps. When I saw this face stamp in the NEW Hampton Art Stamps catalog I was really happy. I always love it when an "old" idea or technique makes a come-back!

If you are drooling over these yummy pearls, they are from Pro 31 Designs! They have the most unbelievable vintage-style items!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The large flower was cream, but I sprayed it with several colors of Smooch Spritz. It now matches the ribbon (Really Reasonable Ribbon).

I stamped the sentiment with brown ink. This was a wood mount Hampton Art Stamps Studio G stamp called Dreams Come True. I don't see any of the Studio G sets in the new catalog, but I know it's a newer stamp. I love the font combination of this stamp!

Thanks for joining me today!

  1. very pretty! love the choice of colors with this face stamp!

  2. Love your work :)

  3. This is such a soft, dreamy the way the design and the sentiment work together. Your flower cluster with pearls is drool-worthy. I also like the floral circle beneath the main focal image. Makes it pop. Gaw-juss!

  4. Gloria...I WAS drooling over those pearls while reading your message "if you're drooling over thesw yummy pearls...", so thank you for telling me where to get them! I also need to join in on the next order for those flowers! Lovely all!

  5. I am having pearl & flower envy right now - such a dramy card!
