This is the box front. I used the 5x8 Kraftboard Altered Art Box and decorated it with a spooky chipboard house.
I added a little bookplate to the spine to mimic an old book.
Here is a view of the back and the other side, where I used a NEW Graphic 45 Ornate Metal Key Hole.
I die cut a fence and a ghost to decorate the front of the box, and I fussy cut some of the images from the papers.
The cute little witch is sitting on the fence. I used one of the smaller Metal Tags for a door, and created a knob from a Metal Brad.
This is a look at the inside flap of the box.
And the box opened completely.
I used a Kraft Envelope Mini Album to create a little mini that fits inside the box.
I decorated the flap with paper, then created a closure with a Metal Button and one of the NEW Antique Metal Door Pulls.
The Happy Haunting stickers are fun to use to create a title.
I covered each page of the mini with papers and other embellishments. Each envelope can hold journaling, photos, or other treasures.
This is the front cover with the flap opened. I added the year to the edge. I used 2013 since I know I won't get around to adding photos to this mini in 2012!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, Gloria! I love the blue starry paper you chose for the box...gives it a real dreamy quality. And that chubby cheeked moon gets me every time!
