Graphic 45 A Ladies' Diary Mini Album

This is my second post for today. For the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps post, scroll down.

I have been waiting for Graphic 45 to come out with a soft, vintage collection, and A Ladies' Diary fits the bill! The papers are so pretty. When I received the matching stamps, I knew that I wanted to stamp and color the vintage lady; and I wanted to use the image to decorate something! I searched my stash and found several of the 4-panel accordion fold Kraft Albums that come with the Graphic 45 5x8 Kraftboard Altered Art Boxes. (I have made several of the boxes, but not used the album inserts!)

I created a vintage sewing-themed mini that could be used to document an event for a special lady in your life: a grandmother, best friend, or sister.

Here is the front of the album.

I colored the vintage lady with Copics and die cut the image. I trimmed the die to create a "custom" shape.

I love creating flowers with my die cut shapes.

To learn how to make the flowers, watch this video.

I used some thin ribbons and a button to decorate the front of the album. This is such a feminine project! It speaks to the girlie girl in me and really is one of my favorite projects that I have made in a while.

I sort of put this together "left handed" so when it is unfolded it looks backwards, but when it's all folded up, it looks ok. Accordion albums can be tricky bugs!

Here is a close-up of my new Spellbinders A2 Fancy Ribbon Threader die template.

I used some vintage buttons and some faux vintage.

I created a pocket to hold various tags. The A Ladies' Diary stamps were perfect for adding some sentiments and images to the tags.

I decorated a chipboard dress form with paper, ink, and ribbon.

Thanks for looking!
