I received the Christmas Sleigh border die cut template from Cheery Lynn Designs. This is very delicate and intricate die cut! So pretty! Here is what I made with it.
I stamped the postage image from the Hampton Art Stamps/Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium set onto cream cardstock with red ink. Then I inked around the edges of the cardstock with Deep Green Chalk ink.
I trimmed the sleigh border die cut apart and used one of the extra pieces to decorate the ribbon.
I glued the rest of the border to the bottom of my card.
It is fun to mix and match stamp sets to create unique vintage-themed cards. Besides the postcard image from Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium, I also used a Santa image from the Art Warehouse Holiday Dreams and Wishes set for the front of my card.
Stamping my images all in one color makes them pop on the busy background paper.
I enjoy other colors for Christmas, but there is just something so perfect about red and green!
For the inside greeting I used an image from the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet stamp set.
Make sure you leave a comment! And hop to the other blogs to see what else the designers have made!
