Today I want to share one of my Graphic 45 CHA creations using the NEW Secret Garden collection.
I love the rich pastels of the Secret Garden Collection. Nothing "Easter eggy" here! The colors are so vibrant, but still have the vintage feel we have come to expect from Graphic 45. I used the purples and greens in the collection to highlight this photo of the Misty Fjords in
I painted my metal Staples with white gesso to give them a more feminine look. You can see the key peeking out here. And who doesn't love a doily?!
Again, I painted the metal with gesso. I inked the chipboard letters with gray ink, then embossed them with clear embossing powder.
I love creating little scenes on my layouts. I used flowers, metal, and crystal swirls, with a few of the postage stamp images cut from the paper tucked behind.
I have had this Sizzix clock die in my stash for over a year, and somehow had never used it! What?! I cut the clock from chipboard, then inked it with lavender ink. The look of the weathered clock and the weathered rock in the photo, paired with the vibrant green in the photo and the colors of the paper and embellishments just makes my heart sing!
Here is another view of all the layering. Alaska was so beautiful and it really is a garden! It is not all ice and snow! I mean, who knew that Alaska had a temperate rain forest?!
I have more CHA reveals, plus an exciting announcement this week, so stay tuned!
