Inspired by Stamping Challenge #46

Inspired by Stamping offers an inspiration challenge every Thursday (Queensland, Australia time). The challenge lasts for one week, then a new photo is revealed! Here is the photo/color combination for this week's challenge!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you! I did not make you a Valentine's Day card for today. Sorry! But I hope you like the card I did make!

This is my version of a CAS (clean and simple) card. I had to resist adding more layers to it! I love anything postage and anything Paris! I used the Vintage Postcards and Paris sets to create the card front. I stamped directly onto the green stripe paper with brown and green ink! I love how it turned out!

For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from the Flowers Bloom set, which I cut out with the Fancy Label Dies 1 template. I also stamped the clock from the Paris set and cut it out with a circle die template. Did I mention that I also love clocks?!

The doily is one of those white doilies that you can buy in the cake decorating department of most major craft stores. I think they are made by Wilton. You know, those cake people. Anyway, I smudged it up with some pink ink.

The beautiful pink flowers are two-tone pink flowers from IBS.

Even my CAS card has lots of layers! But I think the stamped images look so fantastic! The images are so crisp!

I finished off the inside as well. I had a bit of a blooper when I stamped the Eiffel Tower. Something was under my cardstock and the stamp smudged a bit. But, I had already glued everything down, so....let's just go with vintage charm, shall we?

Basic rules of the challenge: Please use the colors in our photo as your main colors. Upload your card/project to your blog or online gallery and leave a link to your project using the linky widget at the bottom of the IBSIC Blog post. When uploading to online galleries please add IBSIC #46 to your post. (Each challenge is up for one week.)

At this time ALL products (stamps, paper, dies) are welcomed with our challenge. You do not have to incorporate an IBS stamp set or flowers.
