Plus, there are prizes! For a chance to win either a stamp prize from Hampton Art or one of three collection kits from Echo Park Paper, please continue on the blog hop leaving a comment on each blog. Winners will be selected and announced both on the Echo Park Paper and Hampton Art blogs on Monday, April 29th. All comments are due by Sunday, April 28th at midnight EST to qualify.
I have created a scrapbook page for the hop! I know at least half of you clicked away thinking you were at the wrong blog! But, I have to indulge my alter-ego once in a while! (My husband said, "That's nice but it does not look all junked up like most of your work.")
I was just feeling a bit like something more simple, with less junk. And let's face it...it is hard to put a lot of stuff on boy layouts. I simply refuse to put flowers on layouts of my sons. Just cannot do it! This is a photo of my sons, who are nearly 9 years apart in age. I think Nathan was almost 20 and Jonah was 11 in this photo.
I also stamped the tab image from the stamp set and wrote in the year.
I used a craft knife and a straight edge to cut the chevron paper apart to create chevron strips. I die cut some stars to layer on the page. Because, let's face it, the boys are stars in my book! {grin}
Thanks for visiting!
