Our Daily Bread Designs Guest Spot

If you are looking for the IBS Reveal post, please scroll down.

Good morning everyone! I am so happy to start the day! I am so pleased to have been asked to be the ODBD guest designer for April and May! I have been a huge fan of their stamps for a long time, and have wanted to be asked on this team! When they had openings before, I was unable to apply due to a conflict, but when they asked me to guest design I said, "YES, YES, YES!"

I have a very strong faith, and really like scripture stamps, especially those with lovely fonts! ODBD fits the bill. To learn more about ODBD, please click HERE.

Now, on to the Shining Light Challenge! ODBDSLC149 is to make a project other than a classic square or rectangle. It can have "fancy" edges or be a different shape. I decided to make a circle card.

I die cut two scalloped circles from tan cardstock to create my card base. I scored the top of one of the circles to make a flap, and then attached the other circle to the flap only, creating a card.

I stamped one of the scriptures from the Scripture Collection 10 set. This is one of my favorite scripture verses, plus I love the font combination! I stamped with brown ink, then die cut the image with a circle die template.

I love using flowers on my cards. It makes them lumpy and hard to mail, but it's worth it!
