Sketch Challenge

One of my Inspired by Stamping design team duties is to play in two challenges per month. I get to pick the challenges and the stamps that I want to use.

This week I chose to play along in the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #99. I am a big fan of Jen Shults and her fantastic sketches!

Here is what I created.

I stamped a sentiment from the Inspired by Stamping Trendy Circle Sentiments set and cut it out with a circle die template. I love sentiments that can fit into circles, tags, or ovals. It makes my job so much easier! On a silly side note, this paper collection is called "Cowboy." Really? That gave me a giggle for the day.

I felt the need to create a triple bow, plus add some flowers and pearls, just to really make sure this card did not look cowboy! (I love cowboys, by the way! Cowboys and men in uniform. And I love my husband, who is neither a cowboy nor wears a uniform!)

  1. Lovely! I love the pearl look! I would never have guessed the paper was called cowboy. :) it doesn't look very cow boyish to me. It sure turned out real purty... :D
