WorldWin Papers and Inspired by Stamping Blog Hop!

Hello! And thank you for joining me for a Holiday Blog Hop! (I was able to get this project finished prior to the doctor kicking me out of my studio!)

Inspired By Stamping and WorldWin Papers has teamed up to offer you over 15 inspiring Christmas projects to jump start your holiday season. We hope that you’ll find just the right inspiration for your next Christmas themed project.

Christmas season is all about gift giving, and this hop is no exception. We have planned a very sweet giveaway for a lucky winner.

$50 Gift certificate from IBS and $50 WorldWin Paper Pack

To be eligible for the giveaway, please visit each blog in the list, grabbing the “letter” code as you go. Once you’ve landed on our last blog, which is the Inspired by Stamping Blog, leave a comment with the secret phrase created. (You will create the phrase by putting together all of those letters that you collected from each blog.)

Winners of the giveaway will be announced on October 23rd on both the WorldWin Papers and Inspired by Stamping blogs.

The designers have worked hard to produce all of these fantastic creations, and we would like to invite you to leave some comments on their individual blogs as well. (There may even be extra prizes!)

So what are you waiting for…let the hopping begin! You should be coming to me from Katrina's Blog. If not, go back to the WorldWin Papers Blog and start the hop.

I created a gift set for you! I altered a gift bag, and also created a gift tag and a card!

My favorite color combination for Christmas is kraft, white, and red. The luscious WorldWin Papers ColorMates cardstock in Medium Coffee Brown was perfect for my project. The cardstock color is a pretty shade of....well...ofthe spiced chai tea I like to drink in the winter! The ColorMates cardstock has a smooth finish, perfect for embossing!

I used a 5 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 8 1/4 kraft gift bag. I love this size for giving small hostess gifts and such. I decorated the front of the bag with some printed paper (Graphic 45 The Twelve Days of Christmas) and an embossed panel of the ColorMates cardstock (Cuttlebug Christmas Countdown). I rubbed the embossed areas with white ink.

I used the IBS Holiday Expressions and December 25th Labels stamp sets to stamp the tag. I cut the tag out with a Spellbinders die (Back to Basics Tags). This is such a simple project that you could make these decorated bags in bulk. (To purchase bags in bulk, visit Bags and Bows by Deluxe.)

I have been trying to make a Christmas card here and there since I know I won't be able to crank them all out in early December (especially with my injury). I really love this one! (Yes, it jingles!)

I used more of the ColorMates cardstock - Medium Coffee Brown and Light Berry Red. The white cardstock is the WorldWin Premium White, which is perfect for stamping! This time I embossed the tan panel with the Couture Creations Jolly Christmas folder. I rubbed the raised areas with white ink.

The printed paper is from the G45 The Twelve Days of Christmas 6x6 pad. I stamped an image from the IBS December 25th Labels stamp set onto the white cardstock. I used Spellbinders Floral Ovals to die cut the sentiment.

You know I must do something to the inside! I stamped a sentiment with the IBS Holiday Expressions stamp set.

I had some paper bits left over, so I made a tag to match the bag and card!

I die cut a tag from the ColorMates Medium Coffee Brown cardstock using the Tim Holtz tag die. I then embossed it with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder and rubbed the tag with some white ink. I used the Perfect Layers tool to make a slightly larger tag from the Light Berry Red cardstock.

I confess...last year (or maybe two years ago!) at a post-Christmas sale, I purchased the Tim Holtz mini deer and "25" die set...and forgot I had them! I had stashed them in a box and forgot all about them, poor things! I found them in time to make some use of them this year! I die cut the deer from ColorMates Smooth Deep Creamy Cocoa cardstock. I cut the "25" from the Light Berry Red.

I sprayed the doily with some mist, but it is hard to see the shimmer in the photo. The sentiment is from the IBS Holiday Sentiments stamp set. I die cut it with circle nesting dies. (If you are wondering, the red ink is Stampin' Up Real Red - it's an OLD pad, but still juicy!)

Hope you had fun visiting me today!
