Blog Tour Feature - and My New Tote!

My dear friend, Kathy, has featured me on her blog! It is such an honor for me to be featured, and Kathy has some really sweet things to say! I hope you will hop on over to her blog, Kathy by Design, and check out the Blog Tour! You can learn more about Kathy, and the other designers whom she is featuring!

Kathy is a wonderful friend and an amazing crafter. Her vintage style is a wonderful blend of "homeyness" and shabby chic. Besides being a talented paper craft artist, Kathy is a Sister in Christ, and a very loving and giving person. I cherish our friendship. We chat on the phone or via Internet chat, and we laugh until our sides ache! I thank Kathy from the bottom of my heart for the feature!

I will be doing my own feature on  August 31st, so check back and see who I have picked!

One thing before I go....  A few weeks ago I was on a rant on Facebook about not being able to find a replacement for my very old, very wrecked All My Memories Totally Cool Tote. Well, I found THIS bad boy, which is really an electrician's tool carrier! {My Pop would be so proud of me!} It is sort of manly, but...I am always more about function than looks. {grin}

The price was right, so I ordered it. It is a tad larger than I expected, but I love it! It is the perfect size for all my tools and "junk" and sits on my desk. It is a bit heavier than my other tote, but I don't travel out to crops very often, so I think it will work.

The tote is 11 x 10 x 19 inches. You can see all my great stuff in there! It even holds my small trimmer and my ATG! My bigger trimmer fits if I wrestle with it a bit. The bottom zips open and contains a plastic container for storing odds and ends. I like to keep all of my tools handy, and I use everything in this tote on a pretty regular basis. {Ok, yes, I have a LOT of scissors!}

There are tons of pockets and places to put all of my many tools. I have it loaded up! I don't mind the black and khaki color. I have enough pink and teal tools in there to satisfy my girlie side.

And there you have it. Tote crises averted!

  3. I have an electrician's pouch hooked on to the pocket of my passenger side seat for my on-the-go art kit. It's the perfect size for a set of colored pencils, glue stick, scissors and some index cards. I had a hard time choosing which ones. I got excited when I saw the pockets and pouches on all of them at Lowe's.
