I created a tag to share. This tag can be used as a package topper, or tied to a gift bag, or used to give a gift card. Have a set of pretty tags in your stash is always smart! I am featuring the Christmas Morn stamp set today. This set comes with wonderful sentiments that you can mix and match, plus lovely silhouette images!
The tag is a Regular Tag Staple from Graphic 45. I love these kraft tags! They are approximately 5 3/4 x 4 inches - the perfect size! A package of tags contains six tags and sells for around $4US. I stock up on these whenever I see them on sale!
I stamped the tree from the Christmas Morn set with white ink. I heat embossed with sparkly white embossing powder. This type of embossing powder contains glitter! How awesome is that?! Once the tree was cool to the touch, I used spray mist to add some shimmer. Then, using the end of a paint brush, I splattered the tag with white acrylic paint.
I rubbed the edges of the tag with white ink. I used twine, velvet flowers, and some floral sprays to create a Christmas flower cluster for the tag. I use a lot of left-over odds and ends to create these clusters. You don't need much, and the small bits and bobs make a great embellishment.
I stamped two sentiments from the Christmas Morn stamp set with brown ink onto a scrap of paper. I trimmed the greeting into a flag shape and added it to the tag. The finishing touch is the fun, plaid ribbon.
I'm sure you have your own favorite Christmas stamp set, so we're inviting you to create a Christmas greeting and add it to the gallery by clicking the Linky Tool below!
