Heartfelt Creations | November Release

Welcome to the Heartfelt Creations November Release! This is the BEST way to celebrate "Black Friday." Love is in full bloom with the Romantique Garden Collection, which contains a 12 x 12 paper pad, six hand drawn stamp sets, and a set of coordinating die cuts depicting beautiful flowers, sweet hummingbirds, and graceful swans.

I created a card with bleeding heart flowers and two shy hummingbirds! Start by creating 6" x 5 1/2" card by trimming black cardstock to 12" x 5 1/2". Score at 6" to make a top-fold card. Trim maroon Romantique Garden paper to 5 7/8" x 5 3/8" and attach panel to the card front. Trim pale pink Romantique Garden paper to 3 3/8" x 4 7/8" and mat with black cardstock. Attach to the center of the card. Trim green Romantique Garden paper to 1 3/8" x 5 3/8" and mat with black cardstock. Wrap the green panel with ribbon, taped at the back of the panel. Attach panel to the center of the card.

Stamp the flower and hummingbird image from the Heartthrob PreCut Set onto white cardstock. Color image as desired. (Sample uses Copic alcohol markers.) Use the Spellbinders Ovals Grand Nestabilities to cut out the image. Sponge the edges with blue chalk ink. Use the largest Spellbinders Floral Ovals Nestabilities die template to cut two decorative ovals from black cardstock. Attach the image to the decorative ovals with foam squares as shown. Attach the matted image to the card front, approximately 3/4" from the left edge.

Stamp the hummingbird image from the Romantique Wings PreCut Set. Color as desired and trim out with sharp scissors. Add the hummingbird to the left of the main image with foam squares. Stamp the petals image from the Heartthrob PreCut Set several times onto ivory paper. Use the coordinating petals die template from the Romantique Garden Die Set to cut out the petals. Color each bloom by sponging it with ink. Shape blooms and add to the main image with foam squares (save the smallest blooms for the inside of the card).

Trim "Congratulations" sentiment from the Romantique Garden paper and attach to the bottom of the card with foam squares. Tie a loopy bow from white ribbon and attach to the right edge of the card as shown. Add self-adhesive pearls to the upper right and lower left corners of the card.

Optional: line the inside of the card with paper from the Romantique Garden collection (or use white cardstock). Stamp the sentiment from the Romantique Wings PreCut Set onto the inside panel and color as desired. Use the smallest flowers saved from the step above to add dimension to the stamped image.
