Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - Have a Wonderful Day!

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! I am sharing another card using the May Release, Cascading Fuchsia! Next week, I will be sharing the June Release, Blazing Poppies! Make sure to come on back for that!

I am still experimenting with coloring techniques. This week, I have stamped the main image with pale gray ink, and colored with very pale pink markers. I have created a faux airbrushed look around the image by using a blue marker and the colorless blender. I have also combined papers from several collections. I love to mix and match my papers!

To make this 6" x 6", top-fold card, begin by cutting gray cardstock to 6" x 12" and scoring at 6" on the long side. Cut white cardstock to 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" and attach to the card front. Trim blue print paper from the Birds and Blooms Collection to 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" and attach to the white panel on the card front.

Cut pale pink print paper from the Romantique Garden Collection to 5" x 2 1/2" and mat with gray cardstock cut to 5 1/8" x 2 5/8". Attach the pink panel to the left edge of the card, approximately 1/4" from the left edge and 1 1/2" from the bottom edge. Attach a white doily to the upper left quadrant of the card front.

Trim green paper from the Majestic Morning Paper Collection to 3 7/8" x 5 3/8" and mat with gray cardstock cut to 4" x 5 1/2". Use the Decorative Lace Border Die to cut a border from the dark pink Cut Mat Create paper. Wrap the decorative lace border around the bottom half of the green panel and secure at the back. Attach the green panel to the right side of the card front.

Stamp the image from the Fuchsia Clusters Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock with gray ink. Color the image with Copic markers. Use BG10 and the colorless blender to create an "airbrushed" blue background for the flower image. Use the Spellbinders Grand Oval die template to cut out the image. Sponge the edges of the oval with French blue and gray chalk ink. Use the Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals die to cut a decorative oval from white cardstock. Attach the image to the decorative oval die cut with foam adhesive. Attach the matted image to the right side of the card front with foam adhesive, centering the image onto the green panel.

Create a bow from pearl pink shimmer satin ribbon and glue to the top left side of the image as shown. Stamp the sentiment from the Heartfelt Sentiments Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock with gray ink. Trim out the sentiment using the Spellbinders Back to Basics Tag die template. Sponge the edges of the sentiment tag with French blue and gray chalk ink and attach it to the left edge of the card with foam adhesive, overlapping one edge of the image. Glue a green pearl to the tag as shown.

Decorate the inside of the card by first trimming a dark pink panel from the Cut Mat Create Paper Collection to 5 7/8" x 5 7/8". Attach the panel to the inside of the card. Trim white cardstock to 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" and attach the panel to the inside of the card.
