Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - June Release - Blazing Poppies!

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! Today is the June Release, Blazing Poppies Collection! This collection contains one paper pad, five stamp sets, and one die set. Get ready to set the world ablaze with this luscious and vibrant collection!

I created a 5" x 6 3/4" card with the stunning papers, stamped images, and 3D flowers. This bright collection will make you itch to get your crafty hands dirty! This card has tons of dimension, from the flowers, to the sentiment, to the bow, to the card design itself!

Start by trimming black cardstock to 5" x 12" and scoring at 6" on the long side to make a 5" x 6" top-fold base card. Trim red paper from the Blazing Poppies Paper Collection to 4 7/8" x 5 7/8" and attach it to the card front. Trim black cardstock to 5" x 2 1/2". Use a border punch to create a decorative edge along the bottom edge of the black cardstock strip. Attach the cardstock strip to the card front, approximately 1/4" from the bottom edge. Trim pale coral paper from the Blazing Poppies Paper Collection to 4 7/8" x 2" and attach it to the decorative punched panel.

Trim white cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4". Mask the vase image from the Blazing Poppy Vase Cling Stamp Set. Use black ink to stamp only the vase at the bottom section of the white cardstock. Stamp the flower arrangement image from the Blazing Poppy Vase Cling Stamp Set with black ink onto the vase image. Color the stamped images with alcohol markers. Stamp the vase again onto a scrap of white cardstock and color with markers. Cut out the vase and use foam tape to attach the cut out image to the stamped panel.

Stamp the Blazing Poppy Petals Cling Stamp Set twice onto white cardstock. Color the flowers with markers. Use the Blazing Poppy Die to cut out the flowers. Shape the flowers and assemble one medium and two small flowers by gluing the layers together. Use clear glue to add black micro beads to the flower centers.

Stamp the leaves from the Delightful Daisies Cling Stamp Set several times onto white cardstock and color with markers. Use the Delightful Daisy Die to cut out the leaves. Assemble the dimensional flowers and leaves on the top of the stamped image to create a dimensional flower arrangement. Use the ticket die from the Luggage and Tags Die to trim out the sentiment from the Blazing Poppies Paper Collection and attach it to the left side of the vase as shown.

Mat the image with black cardstock cut approximately 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Use a decorative corner punch to create four corners from black cardstock. Add the punched corners to the four corners of the image. Use foam adhesive to attach the image to the card front, making sure that the top of the image extends 3/4" above the top of the card. Tie a double bow from coral satin ribbon and attach to the bottom center of the card, below the stamped image.

Decorate the inside of the card by cutting white cardstock to 4 7/8" x 5 7/8" and attaching it to the inside of the card. Using cranberry and old rose pigment ink, stamp the small flower cluster from the Blazing Poppy Fillers Cling Stamp Set onto the top right corner and the bottom left corner of the white panel.
