I created a large, 6" x 6" card, bursting with Christmas loveliness! This collection is perfect for rustic, vintage projects, but the stamps and dies can also be used to create flowers and accents in a wide variety of colors and styles! I paired the poinsettias with the Botanical Rose flower from the Butterfly Medley Collection.
Start by trimming black cardstock to 6" x 12" and scoring at 6" on the long side to make a 6" x 6" top-fold card. Cut red holly paper from the Sparkling Poinsettia Paper Collection to 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" and attach to the card front. Trim green holly paper from the Sparkling Poinsettia Paper Collection to 2 7/8" x 4 7/8" and mat with black cardstock cut to 3" x 5". Wrap white sheer organza with satin center ribbon around the bottom of the panel. Attach the panel to the center of the card front, 1/2" from the bottom edge.
Trim striped paper to 5 3/8" x 1 7/8"" and mat with black cardstock cut to 5 1/2" x 2". Attach the panel to the left side of the card, 1" from the left edge and 1/4" from the top. Trim white print paper to 3 3/8" x 3 3/8" and mat with black cardstock cut to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". Attach panel to the card front with foam adhesive, 3/4" from the right edge and 5/8" from the top.
Stamp the flower from the Large Sparkling PoinsettiaCling Stamp Set onto Deep Berry Red cardstock with black ink. Stamp the leaves
onto Deep Spring Green cardstock with black ink. Use the Large Sparkling Poinsettia Die to cut out the flower and
the leaves. Stamp the Sparkling PoinsettiaCling Stamp Set onto Deep Berry Red cardstock with black ink. Use the Sparkling Poinsettia Die to cut out the flowers. Add color
to the flowers and leaves with distress ink. Shape the flowers and leaves. Then
glue the four largest flowers together to form one poinsettia.
Stamp the flowers and leaves from the Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set onto ivory paper with black ink. Add color to the flowers and leaves with distress ink. Use the Botanical Wings Die to cut out the flowers and leaves, and then shape them. Create two ivory flowers. Add white paint to all flowers and leaves. Use glue to add glitter to the center of the ivory flowers. Glue a rusty bell to the center of the poinsettia. Glue the large poinsettia to the center of the white panel on the card front. Add the poinsettia leaves to the upper left and lower right edges of the flower.
Glue one ivory flower and one leaf to the lower left of the poinsettia.
Glue one small ivory flower and leaf to the upper right of the poinsettia.
Add punched greenery, wire spirals, berries, and a trinket pin as shown. Tie a bow from white ribbon and glue to card front. Attach a sentiment cut from the Sparkling Poinsettia Paper Collection to the bow.
