Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - Have a Sweet Day

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!

Let's hear it for LAYERS! It is no secret that I love to layer, and this card has at least eight layers! I also love to play with prints, and these yummy prints from the Heartfelt Creations Farmers Market and Everyday Heroes Collections are perfect together!

To create this card, start by trimming black cardstock to 6" x 12". Score at 6" on the long side to make a 6" x 6" top-fold card. Cut green print paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection to 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" and attach to the card front. 

Trim cream and black dot paper from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2. Mat with black cardstock cut to 5 5/8" x 5 5/8". 

Wrap lace and ribbon around the top of the panel and secure at the back. Use foam adhesive to attach the panel to the card front. 

Trim three strips of diamond print paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection to 1 3/8" x 4 3/8" and mat with black cardstock cut to 1 1/2" x 4 1/2".  Use foam adhesive to attach the three panels to the center of the card front, approximately 1/2" from the bottom edge. Slide the top portion of each paper strip under the lace and ribbon at the top of the card. Tie a bow from the red ribbon and glue to the top left corner of the card. Glue a decorative button to the bow. 

Use the scallop tag die from the Luggage and Tags Die set to cut three tag images from the Farmers Market paper. Tie natural twine through the holes in the top of the tags. Use foam adhesive to attach the tags to the diamond paper strips, overlapping the bottom edge of the lace trim as shown. 

Stamp the Sweet Lullaby Sentiments Cling Stamp Set onto ivory paper with black ink. Use circle dies to cut out the "Sweet" sentiment. Color the sentiment with colored pencils. Use circle dies to cut out a slightly larger circle from black cardstock. Mat the sentiment with the black cardstock circle and attach it to the first tag using foam adhesive. 

Trim a sentiment strip from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection and attach it to the middle tag. Tie twine through a wood button and attach it to the left edge of the sentiment strip. 

Trim the "Have a Sweet Day" sentiment from the Farmers Market paper. Attach mini brads to the left and right sides of the sentiment. Attach the sentiment to the bottom center of the card using foam adhesive.

Decorate the inside of the card by cutting diamond print paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection to 5 7/8" x 5 7/8". Attach the paper to the inside of the card. Trim ivory cardstock to 5" x 5". Use ruby pigment ink to stamp the apple and vintage jug image from the Apple Harvest Cling Stamp Set onto the right side of the panel. Trim cream and black dot paper from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection to 1 1/4" x 5" and alter the bottom edge with a decorative border punch or die. Attach the decorative strip to the top of the ivory panel.
