The winner will be announced on Saturday, November 28th, at noon. The November Hop starts 8am EST on Tues. November 24th and closes Fri. November 27th at midnight. I created a 6" x 5" Christmas card from Sparkling Poinsettia and Festive Christmas papers. This card has all the gold and silver gilding and sparkle you need for Christmas!

I created two flowers one using the Botanical Rose Stamps and Botanical Wings Dies, and one using Arianna Blooms Stamps and Dies.  I stamped the flowers onto ivory cardstock with black ink and then colored them with gold and silver ink. Once the ink was dry, I dabbed the edges of the flowers with more ink and sprinkled them with gold and silver embossing powder.

I added bells and "snowballs," plus a white Christmas tree. Sparkling twine and a gold doily add to the rustic elegance.

I stamped the Classic Leaf onto ivory cardstock and cut it out with the matching Classic Leaf Die. I colored the leaves with green metallic inks and then "gilded" the edges with gold and silver embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkling Poinsettia Candle Cling Stamp Set onto antique gold cardstock with silver ink. I embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder and cut it out with the arrow banner from the Everyday Heroes Die. A piece of gold and silver satin ribbon wraps the bottom of the card.

As always, I added some simple decoration to the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my rustic-elegant card! Hop on over to Alissa Wells' Blog next. DON'T FORGET...LEAVE A COMMENT FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A $25 GIFT CARD TO HEARTFELT CREATIONS!
