Graciellie Designs May Release Blog Hop

Welcome! I am guest designing for the May Release at Graciellie Design’s Digital Stamps this month! Make sure you visit Gracie's Blog to see ALL the sets in this release! I love digital stamps, as they are so versatile and easy to use. Plus, they are super affordable! Today I am sharing a card with you using one of Gracie's new sets called Elegant Greetings.

Look at that beautiful hydrangea! I looked on Pinterest for colors of hydrangea, because I have only seen blue, white, and pink, and imagine my surprise at how many colors there are! I also love all those pretty sentiments! You get all six sentiments in the set!
This card is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and created in shades of gray and lavender. When using digital stamps, it is easy to size them and to add the sentiment directly onto the main image, as I have done here.

I printed the flower image at approximately 3 1/4" wide onto Copic cardstock with black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers.

I used my Lexmark printer, which I was a bit worried about since I planned to color the image with Copics. I normally use the Epson printer, but it's malfunctioning. However, the Lexmark printed beautifully and the ink did NOT bleed when I colored the image!

I used some dies with a stitching detail to cut out the panels, and to cut the curved section. I embellished the card very simply, with some sequins, a button, and a bit of twine. The paper is from two hoarded older collections: Webster's Petite Papers Hollywood Vogue, and My Mind's Eye 6x6 Lost & Found Antiques.

The Graciellie Designs digital stamp sets can be found HERE for instant download! These digital stamps are ready to print and are perfect for so many kinds of papercrafting projects.

    1. Laura, You can simply use Microsoft Word, but I use Photoshop Elements. All you need to do is open both the image file and the text file. Once you drag the image onto the page, then you can drag the sentiment on top. You may have to fuss with the size and also select BRING TO FRONT to make it work, but it's super easy. I am sure some kind soul has a Youtube video out there for you to follow. ;)
