Heartfelt Creations November Blog Hop

ATTENTION: The winner of the November blog hop is Liz Ford from Sarah's blog.
Welcome to the November Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop! Each month, on the last Tuesday of the month, the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team participates in a Blog Hop! Be sure to visit each blog on the hop, and leave a comment, because one fortunate Blogger will be chosen to receive a $25 gift card to Heartfelt Creations! The winner will be announced on Saturday, December 3rd at noon. (Check the Heartfelt Creations Facebook Page for winners!) The November Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday, November 29th and closes Friday, December 2nd at midnight.

You should be coming to my blog from Vicki Dutcher's Blog. After visiting me, head on over to Alissa Wells' Blog. For a list of the Alumni Blogs, see the end of the post.

I am still making Christmas cards, as I will be right up until Christmas Eve, most likely!
I went with a non-traditional color scheme, with pinks and burgundies. I really wanted to color the poinsettias pink! I also love using paper in ways other than intended. I used Cascading Fuchsia and was pleased to find the "believe" sentiment in that set, in the color I needed!
I stamped the candle image from the Sparkling Poinsettia Candle Cling Stamp Set onto white paper with black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers. I then added some enamel dots to the center of each flower. (The dots sparkle in person, but the camera had a hard time picking it up.)

After the image was colored, I cut it out with the largest rectangle die in the Cut Mat Create 2A set. I double-matted the image and used foam tape to pop the image off the card front.
The card is 7" x 5" made from black cardstock. I added two prints from the Cascading Fuchsia paper collection. I created a black border with the wrought iron die template from the Border Essentials set

I use the oval label from the Luggage and Tags die set to cut out the sentiment. I added the sentiment with foam adhesive and then glued an enamel dot to the label. The dots I used are from C.C. Designs.
I added some paper and a stamped sentiment to the inside of the card.
