Pretty Pink Bikes Accordion Album

For those of you looking for the February Folio Series Tutorial, it is COMING on the 26th (at the latest). I am a bit behind due to a nasty cold. My apologies.

Hello and welcome to the CutCardStock Blog! This is my last post as part of the CutCardStock 2016 Design Team! It has been a wonderful experience and I want to thank all of you for reading my posts this past year. I especially want to thank the CCS crew for their support and appreciation over the past 12 months!
For my post today I have created a 6 1/8" x 20 1/2" accordion fold mini album. I have decorated just one side of the album in order to turn it into a table-top decor piece. My little album contains photos of vintage bicycles...pink bicycles! I have a love for pretty pink bikes!
 (photos downloaded from Pinterest)

I printed my photos onto Natural White Classic Linen Cardstock. I was surprised at how well my printer printed these bright photos onto the linen. Plus, the photos have that soft, vintage look that I love!

After the photos were printed, I cut them each to approximately 6" x 4". I reserved one photo to use on the front of the album.
To create the mini album, Cut two pieces of 130lb Brown Bag Kraft Cardstock to  6 1/8" x  11". Score on the 11" side at 4 1/8" and 8 1/4". Place one piece of the kraft cardstock onto the work surface and measure 1 3/8" from the second sore line. Draw a line to mark the measurement. Place scor-tape on the space to the right of the line.

Remove the liner from the scor-tape. With the short panel of the second piece of cardstock overlapping the scor-tape area of the first piece of cardstock, secure the pieces together. You will have one long piece of cardstock measuring 6 1/8" tall by 20 1/2" long.
Fold the paper in a mountain-valley pattern. Burnish all score lines. You should have five (5) panels, each 6 1/8" x 4 1/8".
Create an embellishment for the front of the mini album. Ink a chipboard bicycle with embossing ink. Sprinkle the bicycle with various shades of pink embossing powder. Heat to melt the powder.  Set the embellishment aside to cool.
Decorate the first panel of the album. Start by cutting a piece of Prima Tales of You and Me paper to 6" x 4". Attach the paper to the album panel. Cut a white paper doily in half and glue to the top, left edge of panel. Glue the chipboard bicycle to the bottom of the panel, as shown.

Glue various paper flowers to the bicycle embellishment. Use a stitched square die cut template to cut out a photo and attach it to the album, at an angle as shown. Add a tiny, pink clothes pin to the photo. Using the sticker letters from the Prima Tales of You and Me 6x6 paper pad, spell out the phrase "pretty pink bikes" on the top of the album page. Glue a few pink sequins to the page, as desired.
Cut four (4) pieces of Prima Tales of You and Me paper to 6" x 4" and attach one piece to each of the remaining panels. Attach a photo to each panel as shown.
Thanks for looking!
