I love all the green prints and vintage images in this collection. There are several shades of green, along with white and some pops of pink in the collection, making it so fun to work with for spring projects.
This mini is 6" x 6" when folded. There is plenty of space for photos and journaling, or you can add small, flat gifts, such as chocolates, coffee packets, and the like. There is space for adding gift cards and little notes.
I have used magnets for a closure. One magnet is hidden on the cover flap, and the other under the diamond print paper.
The middle section unfolds to reveal yet another section. Each section is 6" x 6", and each page is connected using 1/2" hinges cut from black cardstock. It is easy to add more or fewer sections using this method. (Unfortunately, there is no tutorial for this project. I had a few craft mishaps and ended up with no usable photos!)
Then the last section unfolds, for three sections, each 6" x 6". The top two gutters (spines) are 1/2" and the bottom gutter is 1/4". The size of the gutters will depend on how thick your embellishments are.
Each of the sections then fold out horizontally to reveal pockets and then more panels. The pockets are 6" x 2" and hold a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" photo mat.
The pages fold back for more space to add photos or fun cut-apart elements. The pages are an accordion fold style, attached with the 1/2" hidden hinges.
Here is a close-up of the first pocket section. I have kept the decor to a minimum so that the mini does not get too bulky.
The pockets are roomy enough to accommodate more than one photo mat or a packet of coffee or another flat gift.
I used a lot of the sticker embellishments from the Emerald Details Sticker Sheet. I also found some cute St. Patrick's Day charms to cut out with the Silhouette machine.
