April CardMaps - Go and Play

Hello, Friends! Today I am sharing another of the April CardMaps (from Becky Fleck at PageMaps)!
Here is the CardMap for today:
I have always loved a square card because it is sort of like a mini scrapbook layout, I guess. This one is fun, and open to a wide range of interpretations! When I used a sketch, sometimes I follow it exactly. Sometimes I use some of the elements or placement shown. Other times I go way off base! This sketch is clearly an Easter idea, but I focused instead on the plaid background!
The adorable Authentique Youngster collection has some of the BEST prints, including this blue and green plaid! Plus, there are some really sweet images in the Youngster Six paper!
I created a 6" x 6" card, and placed the buttons and the image instead of the eggs shown on the sketch. Otherwise, the card is pretty true to the sketch, if you squint and tilt your head a bit!
I found the sentiment strips on the Youngster Die Cut Sheet. The buttons were hiding in my huge stash of buttons. I think this greeny-blue is a perfect match for the paper! (Again, how adorable is that little boy!??!)
What do you love about using a cardmap? If you have not tried a cardmap or a pagemap, go visit Becky's site and see all the inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by today.
