About a week, maybe two weeks, ago I got an email from one of my scrappy friends, asking me to join a "hand selected" team for an online scrapbook store. Initially I turned her down, but said maybe I could guest design sometime. I had heard of the store, and had purchased from them before, but I was not sure I "needed" another team! Well, after more talking, and seeing the workload, and the other people involved, I decided to jump on board this creative train!
Drum roll please......
StopAndScrap has announced their first Design Team!
Cindy Coutts (DT Coordinator)
Gloria Stengel - That's me!
I am so excited to work with these ladies. I know some of them from other current or past design team work, and some I know by reputation! And I am excited to work for an "up and coming" store!
Every Monday-Thursday the DT will be sharing scrapbook pages, cards, altered items, and more! Every Friday Cindy will be sharing a video tutorial! We would love to have you join in our new challenges with prizes. Here is how you can connect with us:
Pinterest Boards
We are also having a BLOG HOP with the new team! But first, here is a project I made to get you ready to create!
I created a circle card - not something I do every day! But this day is special!
I think I will send this to my mom for Mother's Day. Because I do miss her!
I used Cosmo Cricket Tea For Two papers for my card. Currently, StopAndScrap is stocking mostly printed paper, but with the new team coming on board, they hope to branch out into stamps and other goodies! (I have a special surprise for my Graphic 45 fans who are looking for a place to purchase G45 items...but you must come back tomorrow!)
Now, on to our first blog hop! We have prizes - in fact, we will be drawing a prize winner from EACH design team member's blog and from the StopAndScrap Blog - that is 12 chances to win! The more you hop, the greater your chances are of winning a $20 gift certificate to the store!
