You should be coming to my blog from Ginny's Blog. (For the complete blog list, scroll to the bottom of the post.)
Here is a peeky at the RRR February Ribbon Club. Lots of spring colors!
I just received some new stamps (a birthday present to myself) the other day and was so excited to use them! I knew that I was going to use one of the chalkboard images, and all of the ribbon club colors would go perfectly with black!
These new stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs stamp in black. Your paper shows through where the white part is! How cool is that?! It is one-step chalkboard stamping!
I used a bit of the lace from the February Ribbon Club, plus I made a flower from the pink ribbon by sewing a running stitch and pulling the ribbon into a "rose." (I know! I actually sewed! Not any major deal, except for someone like me who can barely sew a button onto a shirt!) I added a fabric brad to the center of my rose. I am not sure where that brad came from. It was in a bin without packaging.
I used lots of layers, but not too many to make this card difficult to ship.
I also finished the inside.
I hope you enjoy the hop! Make sure to leave a comment! I love your comments!
