365 Cards Scor-it Week - Money Holder

The Scor-it Challenge today at 365 Cards is to make a money holder. I wrote up this little tutorial to show you how to make a money holder that fits in a standard 5.5x4.25 envelope, making it easy to mail. (You can also put a gift card or a check in this card too!)

1. Cut a piece of cardstock to 5.5x10 inches.

2. Score in from the left at 4".

3. Score in from the right at 2".

4. Fold and crease on the score lines.

5. The 2" flap will be at the bottom of your card. Place adhesive on the left and right edges of the 2" flap and fold up to make a pocket. You now have a 4x5.5 card with an inside pocket. The pocket is 2" deep.

6. Decorate your card, insert cash, and mail!

Specific supplies used: cardstock (Stampin' Up), printed paper (Fancy Pants), stamps (Hero Arts, Stampin' Up), buttons and ribbon (Michael's Craft Store)
