Do you see my faux stitching on the "swim" layout? I drew circles with a Sharpie pen. But it sure looks like stitching, right?! I used the Bella Blvd papers for this next layout also, plus a little of the Chatterbox (brown dots).
I was able to put the pale yellow Bazzill through my printer and do some computer journaling. I wanted to tell the story about the kids making stuffed bears at the library, and it was too much for me to write out long-hand!
I really got into the grunge a bit this time. On this next layout, I toned down the bright green Bazzill with paint, ink, and some edge distressing.
I finally scrapped photos of this house, which we only lived in for 18 months. We'd been transferred to east central Pennsylvania from North Carolina. Then, after just 18 months, we were transferred out here to southern California. WHEW!
For this Easter page I combined the My Mind's Eye and Bella Blvd papers. I also had some MME sticker letters in my stash that seemed to go well. I outlined the letters with a brown Sharpie to make them pop.
I used the Chatterbox papers to do a 2-page spread about my oldest son's 11th birthday. (Yes, he's 17 now! I'm getting the pages scrapped so give me a break! LOL) I also used the April sketch for this page layout.
Here are some cards I made from the scraps and leftover embellishments!
